In this course we will see how communication, despite seeming to be an instantaneous act, can be fostered through a stimulating environment that allows the development of both the new verbal codes acquired, as well as the gestures of children. During the training, we will know the characteristics of the two periods that make up the linguistic development of the 0-3 year stage.

The Montessori approach
One of the pillars of the Montessori view of parenting in the 0-3 age stage is confidence in the innate potential of children. As adults, we influence their development by repeating ways of doing without prior reflection.
- What guidelines can we follow to promote their autonomy?
- When to intervene and how to act?
Favoring their physical autonomy during the first years of life will contribute to the intellectual autonomy that will develop in their childhood and will strengthen their moral autonomy in youth. The activities of daily life during this stage will allow the development of your intelligence.
- Should we buy Montessori materials or can we use everyday objects?
- What objects should be present in your environment?
The acquisition of autonomous movements and full motor development is benefited by the design of the environment together with appropriate clothing. Our customs must contribute to creating a rich and stimulating literacy environment for language development.
- How do we promote reading? What criteria should we follow?
- How do we enrich your orality?
Language development in children 0-3
Communication, despite appearing to be an instantaneous act, can be fostered through a stimulating environment that allows the development of both the new verbal codes acquired and the gestural ones of the children.
Stages of language development
During the training, we will know the characteristics of the two periods that form the linguistic development of the stage 0-3 years. During this module, the necessary information will be given to families so that they can work on these aspects at home in order to motivate the progressive development of language.
This course shows families and educators different activities in order to encourage children to develop language and enrich their vocabulary. In addition, it offers the guidelines that we must follow as adults and the role to play during this process.
The prepared environment
Knowledge of the type of activities, games and songs allows parents to be participants in language development, graphic expression and rich vocabulary. In addition, we must also know which are the most favorable environments for the installation of reading spaces at home.
The role of the adult
As adults we should not become an obstacle that hinders their freedom and autonomy but through observation and respect, and without interfering, we must set limits. The course offers the precise tools for designing activities and the necessary guidelines to integrate them into our daily life, both at home and in activities carried out outdoors.
This course offers us a broad look at the development of orality, the first spellings, the vocabulary and the expression of emotions. In addition, it indicates the resources to stimulate it at home, the materials to use and what type of communicative situations to promote.
